ENAMELS

My enamels originated from Sfinx České Budějovice in those days it was our biggest factory for enameled crockery. It was a huge, fascinating and harsh work place where about 2 000 people were employed. I started to make sculptures from bent metal sheets. I enameled the sculptures between dishes in tunnel kilns. I was making use of semi-finished and defective products. In the 90‘s the factory was closed which practically finished my enamel period as there weren’t any similar kilns in other factories.
